Stu Stern, President and CEOStu got his first programming job in 1982 and remains a geek to this day. Prior to co-founding Gorilla Logic, Stu was Vice President in charge of the Sun Java Center, Sun Microsystems' global Java professional services organization, and among other achievements led the effort that culminated in publication of the highly influential book, Core J2EE Patterns. Before joining Sun, Stu was Vice President of Equity Trading Systems at PaineWebber (now UBS), and was a member of the executive committee that produced the original Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol, which has since become a core industry standard. Stu's hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, cycling, composing music, and writing code. Stu holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Rochester.
Ed Schwarz, Vice President of EngineeringEd has more than 25 years of software development experience. Before co-founding Gorilla Logic, he was founder of the global e-Business consulting organization at Sun Microsystems. Prior to Sun, Ed was a principal at Abstraction Programming, Inc. (API), a consulting firm specializing in applying object-oriented technology in the financial industry. Ed also held a position of Vice President of Municipal Bond Research Systems at Moody's Investors Services, where he was responsible for all technology used by Moody's Municipal Bond Analysts. Ed holds a B.A. in Music from Princeton University.
Hank Harris, CFO & Vice President of ServicesHank has over 20 years of technology consulting experience. Before joining Gorilla Logic, Inc., Hank was a Director in Sun's Professional Services organization responsible for telecommunication accounts in North America. Previously, he was Area Director of Sun's Java consulting business in the Americas. Prior to Sun, Hank was with Blackstone & Cullen, Inc., - a boutique consulting firm specializing in sales force automation solutions where he was the manager of their Internet Consulting competency. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University. |
