Stu has more than 20 years experience in Enterprise IT. Prior to co-founding Gorilla Logic, Stu was Vice President in charge of worldwide Java consulting services at Sun Microsystems. Stu's leadership at Sun led to the creation of the Core J2EE Design Patterns now used by Java practitioners around the world, as well as the SunTone Architecture Methodology, an extension of the Rational Unified Process. Before joining Sun, Stu spent more than ten years on Wall Street, most recently as Vice President of Equity Trading Systems at PaineWebber (now UBS).
A twenty-year industry veteran, Brendan's background combines artificial intelligence, formal software engineering methodology, and mainstream IT. Prior to joining Gorilla Logic, Brendan was Chief Methodologist of Sun Professional Services, responsible for creating Sun's SunTone Architecture Methodology. Before Sun, Brendan developed compilers and virtual machines for the artificial intelligence language Prolog, first at IBM Watson Research, and later at Quintus. Brendan earned a B.A. in International Relations from American University, and completed coursework for his M.S. in Computer Science at New York University before leaving to take a research position at IBM Watson Research.
Ed has more than 20 years experience. Most recently he was founder of the global e-Business consulting organization at Sun Microsystems. Prior to Sun, Ed was a principal at Abstraction Programming, Inc. (API), a consulting firm specializing in applying object-oriented technology in the financial industry. Ed also held a position of Vice President of Municipal Bond Research Systems at Moody's Investors Services, where he was responsible for all technology used by Moody's Municipal Bond Analysts. Ed holds a B.A. in Music from Princeton University.
Hank has over 15 years of technology consulting experience. Before joining Gorilla Logic, Inc., Hank was a Director in Sun's Professional Services organization responsible for telecommunication accounts in North America. Previously, he was Area Director of Sun's Java consulting business where he was responsible for $20M of revenue. Prior to Sun, Hank was with Blackstone & Cullen, Inc., - a boutique consulting firm specializing in sales force automation solutions where he was the manager of their Internet Consulting competency. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University.
