Failed to in stall the FlexMonkey 4...
I uninstalled my old flexmonkey & got a msg 'the application could not be intalled because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author.' when trying to install this flexmonkey 4. and I strictly followed the uninstallation guides and tried several times & got the same error msg.
Also, I downloaded the AIR from the official site and installed it manually --- but it didn't help...
anyone knows how to handle this?
I totally lost the Monkey...:(
Well, installed finally...
,,, just click the install button as before... interesting....
Can't install on Win 7
Downloaded AIR installer 2.0
Downloaded swc file for flex 4 and double clicked
Get error about damaged file. How do I fix this?
Need more info
Does the console open up for you? Are you saying you are double clicking on the "automation_monkey4.x.swc" file?

is there any zip distribution I can use for install?
as subject...
zip distribution of Monkey Accessories
Hi Glen,
You can download the Monkey Accessories, which will give you everything you need to use FlexMonkey with Flex 4.0, except the FlexMonkey Console, which is where you record tests interactively.
The FlexMonkey Console is an AIR application, and we feel it's most reliable to install using the Adobe AIR installer.
If you plan to use FlexMonkey only for hand-coded tests which run via FlexUnit, for example, you could theoretically use only the MonkeyAccessories.

Can't install
I can't install using the Adobe AIR badge. It pops up a screen saying, "Installing this application requires Adobe AIR, which will be downloaded and installed. Press yes to continue." After a few seconds it says "Try Again". I didn't click the yes button and even when I do it appears unresponsive. I've refreshed the page, uninstalled the old Flex Monkey, uninstalled AIR, reinstalled AIR.
Update: It turns out that Adobe AIR was not installed. Only the installer was opened. Stupid mac :P
Build project error
Hi all,
When I try to configur FlexMonkey in my projec by adding some build arguments -include-libraries-include-libraries "${flexlib}/libs/automation/automation.swc". When I build my project I got some errors with variable declaration. Erorr: 1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MyClass.
If anyone know how to fix this.
Thanks,
Kethya
